Curriculum Enrichment

To enrich children’s experiences at school, we carefully consider what additional experiences we can provide for them. We regularly invite visitors into school develop children’s cultural awareness and knowledge of specific topics. Trips are organised to allow children to visit places outside of their own experiences, build a deeper understanding of the world and to make comparisons with their own lives. Examples include Professor McGinty – Year 5 Victorians; Compton Verney – Year 5 Shang Dynasty; Mayan archaeologist – Year 6 The Mayans; Think Tank – Y3 Light.
