Shirley Heath Outreach Hub – Now Located at Shirley Heath Junior School
We are excited to announce that the Shirley Heath Outreach Hub is now based onsite at Shirley Heath Junior School! The Hub offers a wide range of drop-in services for the local community, providing essential support for children and adults alike.
Our services include:
- Advice and Support for ADHD and Autism: Help for children and adults navigating life with ADHD and/or Autism, including practical strategies and guidance.
- Family Support Drop-In: A safe space to access family support services, ask questions, and receive advice on a variety of family matters.
- Learning Sessions: Free workshops run by Solihull College
- Midwife Appointments: Access to midwife services for expectant parents, with support throughout pregnancy and beyond.
- Health Visitors: Guidance and support on child health and development, including regular check-ups.
- Women’s Aid Support: Confidential support and advice for women experiencing domestic abuse, with options for safety planning and guidance.
- Mental Health Support: Access to mental health services for individuals of all ages, with a focus on providing emotional well-being and practical help.
Who can access a Family Hub?
Family Hubs are open to everyone. You may need to book an appointment to access some services, but there will always be a safe space available for you if you need it.
Most importantly, Family Hubs offer a safe space for all families. You can get help with many things from:
- parenting support
- support groups and social activities
- health appointments such as with a midwife or a health visitor
- activities for young people
- support for children and young people with additional needs
- and much more
How do I get help from a Family Hub?
You can walk in during opening times, call us, message us on social media, or a professional person can refer you.
