Gifted and Talented

We support all pupils at Shirley Heath, regardless of ability. A number of children excel in a particular area, be that Maths, Writing, Science, Sport, Art, Music, History, drama  and so on. We have successful football teams, cross country runners and a wide array of after-school clubs and competitions. We have a superb Rock Band.

We challenge our most able children in a variety of ways. We have been working with gtxxtraMAX who offer workshops for able pupils on brilliant topics such as fiction writing, practical science, detection and sleuthing, mathematical reasoning and solving problems through I.C.T.
