Shirley Heath kicked off their league campaign in brilliant fashion. The girls showed fantastic sportsmanship and played some outstanding football. A wonderful team performance all round! Congratulations to Poppy who scored her first goal for Shirley Heath and to Ellen for her fantastic cross which resulted in a Peterbrook Own Goal. Well done, Team SH!
Night 2: Thursday 6th February 2020:
16:30 St Margarets 1-3 Shirley Heath

17:00: Shirley Heath 0-1 Solihull School
Team SH put in two solid performances by fantastically beating St. Margarets 3-1 and narrowing losing 1-0 to Solihull School. These results put Shirley Heath second in the league with just four league games remaining. The top two teams from each of the girls leagues move into the play-off finals in the summer term to compete to be the best Girls' Football Team in Solihull. Keep on going, Team SH! A big well done to Amelia for scoring the best goal Mr Dowson has ever seen at Shirley Heath: picking the ball up from our penalty box, running past two players and calmly passing the ball through the Goalkeepers legs. An outstanding finish!

A superb Shirley Heath performance resulted in a 2-0 victory. Congratulations to Ellen who scored her first goal for Shirley Heath and assisting Jess' goal. Well done, Team SH!

Shirley Heath finished their league campaign off well in difficult conditions at Old Sils. Although we lost to St. Andrews, a big well done to Avani for scoring her first goal for Shirley Heath - a fantastic 25 yard strike! Shirley Heath also dominated our final league game against Valley. A fantastic Ellen strike bringing the only goal of the game. All of the girls should be very proud of themselves for such a wonderful league campaign!

Shirley Heath started the season off brilliantly with an outstanding victory against Greswold. Well done to all of the girls for such a professional performance and a massive thank you for your support! #TeamSH.
An additional huge well done to Jess for scoring Shirley Heath's first goal of the season, Anjali for her fantastic finish and Caitlin for her 20 yard bottom corner finish. We have some very talented footballers here at Shirley Heath!

Shirley Heath started 2020, and the decade, superbly with a 4-2 win over Coppice. The girls showed great resilience coming from 2-0 down to win 4-2. Well done girls, you should be very proud of yourselves!

Despite losing 3-0, all of the girls showed fantastic ability, passion and enthusiasm and they should be very proud of themselves. Well done, Team SH!

Shirley Heath continued their fantastic form with a 2-0 win over St Margarets. Well done to Milly for scoring her first goal for Shirley Heath.
